Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Roles define what team members can do within the Management UI.
Role Types
Super Admin
Global system access. Can manage all companies, infrastructure settings, and direct database operations.
Global Admin
Company-level admin. Has full access to all resources (Catalogs, Consumers, Users) within their specific company.
CUSTOM ROLE
Granular permissions defined by the Global Admin. Restricted to specific resource types and access levels.
Permission Levels
Permissions are hierarchical. Granting a higher level automatically includes the lower ones.
- ADMINFull control (Create, Read, Update, Delete).
- WRITECan create and modify existing resources.
- READView-only access.
- NONENo access (Default).
How Roles Affect the UI
The interface automatically adapts based on your role. For example, if you have Read permission for Catalogs, the "Create Catalog" and "Delete" buttons will be hidden or disabled.
